What are you most passionate about? And, how does your job help you live your passion?
I’m truly passionate about ensuring our guests don’t miss out on anything. I spend lots of time trying to stay near the cutting edge. Being a part of Marriott is a competitive advantage but you cannot take that for granted. I love the feeling of launching a new programme or refreshing a beverage list. It’s all about the delivery. My job gives me the opportunity to shape what our guests see everyday. This is my signature and it motivates me to do greater and grander.
How has your job helped you achieved things you never felt possible?
Being somewhat of an introvert outside of work, friends are blown away by my ability to connect and deliver great communication with my team and our guests. Marriott has helped me develop my weakness and build on my strengths.
Look ahead 10 years. What would you love to be doing at Marriott International and where are you located?
In 10 years I would love to be at one of our Ritz-Carlton properties as a Food and Beverage Director or at our head office researching and developing new and innovative food and beverage programmes.
