FLEX Manager, Digital Product Intelligence

The FLEX Manager, Digital Product Intelligence supports a team dedicated to delivering actionable insights that drive business growth and elevate customer experiences across Marriott’s global digital platforms, including mobile apps, marriott.com, brand sites, hotel websites, and onsite touchpoints (e.g., mobile key, in-room television, chat). This role focuses on optimizing e-commerce conversion funnels and improving digital experiences, products, and features through testing and continuous improvement across the entire customer journey—from inspiration through the guest experience. The ideal candidate is a quick learner who is resourceful and eager to make an impact, with strong ownership and the ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced environment, managing evolving challenges, ambiguity, and minimal supervision effectively. You thrive on collaboration, skillfully bridging business requirements with the necessary insights and analytics to help the business achieve its goals.

 

As a Digital Product Analytics Manager, you may contribute to any number of projects, initiatives or analyses within the Digital realm. Sample work includes: 

  • Analyzing the role of the digital channels (app, web, mobile web) in driving Marriott’s overall performance
  • Measuring optimization efforts; developing insights which drive digital channel strategy
  • Working collaboratively with the digital organization and third parties on governing principles for analytics
  • Working collaboratively with other analytics, research, and insight teams to generate enterprise-level insights and strategies
  • Identifying KPIs, forecasting performance, setting goals
  • Support AB Test and Experimentation analysis
  • Develop and maintain Tableau and Adobe Analytics dashboards

 

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience Required

  • 4-year degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Operations Research, Business, Math, or other quantitative discipline
  • 3+ years of digital, product, or e-commerce experience demonstrating career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance
  • Hands-on experience with digital analytics tools, including Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, and others, demonstrating an understanding of digital data analysis and its practical applications
  • Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to design and optimize queries and manage datasets effectively
  • Experience with Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or other similar data visualization and business intelligence tools
  • Strong data analysis skills and experience, including querying and manipulation of large datasets, structuring analysis, synthesizing information from multiple sources, and applying statistical analysis techniques
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, especially in managing processes and delivering technical analysis across diverse stakeholders

 

Education and Experience Preferred

  • Knowledge of Python, R, SAS, or other statistical modeling tools
  • Familiarity with A/B testing concepts and analysis
  • Understanding of statistical methods with regards to study design and analysis

 

 

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Support Digital Channel Analytics

  • Measures effectiveness of key digital channel efforts, applying best practices and proposing the right analytical techniques for measuring effectiveness
  • Partners with Digital leaders to support their efforts through strategic analysis, tracking performance vs. goals, providing recommendations and insights for future efforts
  • Conducts deep dive analytics relative to customer acquisition and retention
  • Synthesizes data to translate results into KPIs for the evaluation of channel performance
  • Develop and present analytical recommendations and actionable insights to disseminate findings and successful practices to key stakeholders and senior management. Explain complex analytics to a broad audience with varying levels of technical background and understanding.

  • Communicates concepts in a clear and persuasive manner that is easy to understand.
  • Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of business priorities

The pay range for this position is $45.81 to $60.29.

Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.
