Quality Intern - Excelsior Hotel Gallia

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Intern to assist the Director of Quality in various quality assurance activities. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the luxury hospitality industry, focusing on operational excellence, guest experience, and quality management.

Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Intern, you will assist the Director of Quality and the team in the following tasks:

• Operational Audits and Inspections: Support the team in conducting quality checks of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure compliance with brand standards.
• Guest Feedback Analysis: Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing guest reviews and satisfaction survey data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Training Support: Assist in organizing and documenting quality-related training sessions for staff to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Brand Compliance Monitoring: Help prepare for internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to brand and quality standards.
• Issue Resolution Documentation: Observe and assist in recording guest complaints and support the development of preventative measures in collaboration with various departments.
• Sustainability and Hygiene: Assist in monitoring compliance with hygiene, safety, and sustainability protocols.
• Reporting and Communication: Support the preparation of detailed quality performance reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, pivot tables), PowerPoint (presentation creation)
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with data analysis processes and an ability to interpret findings effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A proactive and collaborative mindset, eager to learn and contribute.
• Passion for quality management and guest satisfaction in the luxury hospitality sector.
