This role is ideal for a relationship-driven sales professional who enjoys telling a story, building community connections, and driving results through authentic partnerships. The Sales Manager will oversee Government, Corporate, and University accounts, playing a key role in shaping our revenue strategy while representing the unique character of Sol Cypress in the marketplace.
Your Role
As Sales Manager, you’ll be the face of Sol Cypress to key accounts cultivating meaningful relationships, uncovering new opportunities, and positioning our hotel as a preferred destination for business and university travelers visiting downtown San Antonio.
What You’ll Do
· Manage and grow Government, Corporate, and University accounts with a thoughtful, boutique approach
· Prospect and secure new business through creative outreach, networking, and community engagement
· Conduct personalized site tours that highlight the style, story, and experience of Sol Cypress
· Build long-term client relationships that translate into consistent revenue production
· Negotiate rates and contracts aligned with brand and revenue strategy
· Maintain account plans, activity tracking, and forecasts using Marriott sales tools
· Collaborate closely with operations and revenue management to ensure seamless guest experiences
· Represent Sol Cypress at local events, industry functions, and sales missions
Job Requirements:
2–3+ years of hotel sales experience, preferably with a lifestyle or boutique-leaning brand
· Experience selling Government, Corporate, and University markets
· Knowledge of the San Antonio market strongly preferred
· Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine, confident sales style
· Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
· Familiarity with Marriott sales systems a plus
· Flexibility to attend client events, evening networking, and local functions
