POSITION SUMMARY

JW Marriott Jeju Resort & Spa is seeking a passionate and service-oriented Wedding & Event Sales Executive to join our Sales & Marketing team.

This position is responsible for developing and managing luxury destination weddings, social celebrations, and bespoke events while delivering exceptional experiences that reflect the JW Marriott brand promise.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about luxury hospitality, possess strong relationship-building skills, and have the ability to transform meaningful life moments into unforgettable memories against the stunning backdrop of Jeju Island.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Luxury Destination Wedding & Social Events

  • Manage luxury destination wedding inquiries from initial contact through event execution. 
  • Develop customized wedding and event proposals tailored to each client's vision and expectations. 
  • Coordinate wedding site inspections, menu tastings, and planning consultations. 
  • Work closely with local and international wedding planners, travel advisors, and event agencies. 
  • Create memorable and personalized experiences for wedding couples and their guests. 
  • Ensure all wedding and event details are executed according to JW Marriott luxury standards. 

Sales & Business Development

  • Generate new wedding, social event, and catering business opportunities. 
  • Build strong relationships with luxury travel advisors, wedding planners, and key business partners. 
  • Represent the resort at wedding showcases, luxury travel events, and networking functions. 
  • Achieve assigned revenue and sales targets. 

Event Planning & Coordination 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the planning process. 
  • Coordinate event requirements with Banquets, Culinary, Rooms, Spa, Recreation, and other operational departments. 
  • Prepare contracts, Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), Group Resumes, and event documentation. 
  • Conduct pre-event meetings and ensure seamless event execution. 

Guest Experience 

  • Deliver exceptional service and personalized attention throughout the guest journey. 
  • Anticipate guest needs and create thoughtful luxury touches for weddings and celebrations. 
  • Manage special requests and resolve concerns promptly and professionally. 
  • Conduct post-event follow-up to strengthen client relationships and generate repeat business. 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

Experience

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in hotel sales, wedding planning, catering sales, or event management. 
  • Luxury hotel or Wedding Agency experience preferred. 
  • Event Organizer experience preferred

Skills

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills. 
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 
  • Passion for luxury hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences. 

Language

  • Fluent Korean and English communication skills required. 
  • Chinese language skills are highly preferred.
