Job Purpose: Two to three sentences describing the overall purpose of the job | |
Perform a variety of food preparation and service duties including taking food and beverage orders, preparing orders and serving preparedfood and beverage items in an efficient manner. | |
Job Responsibilities: Maximum of ten responsibilities, in order of percentage of time spent on functions from longest to shortest; do not list anything that doesnot represent at least 10% of the job's time. Please include supervisory responsibilities. | |
1. | Provide efficient food sales and service to guests. |
2. | Maintain stock and display food according to established standards. |
3. | Maintain cleanliness in work areas and outlet areas. Clean equipment, dishes, and silverware as needed. |
4. | Operate a cash register and accurately handle monetary transactions. |
5. | Handle a daily cash bank and follow cash handling procedures. |
6. | Demonstrates product knowledge and execution. |
7. | Perform opening and closing duties as required. |
8. | Perform other duties as assigned. |
Job Qualifications: Describe the minimum qualifications needed to complete the job responsibilities. | |
Education | High school diploma or equivalent preferred. |
Experience | Minimum six months of cash handling and food service experience preferred. |
Licenses/Certifications | Food Handlers Card and Alcoholic Beverage Commission (ABC) card may be required. |
