The Assistant Social Media Manager is a key player in shaping W Dubai – The Palm’s vibrant digital presence. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, this role manages social media strategies and content creation for the hotel and its portfolio of B&F outlets. The ideal candidate is creative, energetic, and results-driven, with a passion for storytelling and an eye for detail. This role is responsible for executing engaging social media campaigns, managing accounts, and driving community engagement, all while ensuring content reflects W Dubai – The Palm’s bold, trend-setting brand identity. The Assistant Social Media Manager collaborates with internal teams and external partners to create innovative, high-quality visuals, videos, and messaging that resonate with audiences and strengthen W Dubai – The Palm’s position as a leading lifestyle destination.
Social Media Strategy and Content Creation • Develop and execute creative social media strategies for W Dubai – The Palm and its B&F outlets, ensuring alignment with business goals and brand identity. • Collaborate with graphic designers and videographers to create visually stunning and engaging content, including posts, stories and reels • Plan and execute comprehensive social media calendars for campaigns, promotions, and activations. • Attend events and activations to capture live content, creating real-time engagement opportunities. Social Media Management • Oversee daily operations of social media accounts, including scheduling, posting, and engaging with audiences across platforms such as Instagram and Facebook • Actively monitor and respond to comments, direct messages, and reviews, maintaining a consistent on-brand tone of voice. • Build relationships with followers and encourage user-generated content to foster a loyal online community. Performance Analysis and Reporting • Track and analyze social media performance metrics, creating detailed reports to measure campaign effectiveness and provide actionable insights. • Use data-driven approaches to optimize future strategies and improve ROI. Paid Campaign Management • Plan, execute, and manage paid social media campaigns, ensuring they align with marketing objectives and reach target audiences effectively. • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing & Communications to allocate budgets, set KPIs, and deliver measurable results from paid promotions. Collaboration and Coordination • Partner with in-house teams, including F&B, events, and marketing, to align social media efforts with broader marketing goals. 2 • Liaise with external agencies, photographers, and influencers to enhance content quality and campaign reach. CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field. Minimum 2 years’ experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing, preferably in hospitality or B&F industries. Preferred: Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite). Knowledge of the Dubai B&F scene and trends. Experience managing paid social media campaigns and analyzing performance metrics.
