POSITION SUMMARY

According to the Aruban Law, to apply for this role, candidates must possess a Dutch passport. 

The Casino AML Officer is responsible for conducting confidential research and analysis of daily casino operations, including timely filing of unusual transaction reports to the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) in compliance with State Ordinance. This role involves performing necessary KYC screenings for customers and collecting and documenting essential data, such as KYC and transaction information.

Additionally, the Casino AML Officer will assist the Money Laundering Compliance Officer (MLCO) and the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) with their daily tasks. The officer ensures adherence to internal controls and audit procedures in line with Marriott International’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), the casino's Local Operating Procedures (LOSPs), Nevada Minimum Control Standards (MICS), and the AML/CFT State Ordinance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow all company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional appearance.
  • Protect the confidentiality of proprietary information and safeguard company assets, as well as the privacy and security of guests and colleagues.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in written documentation; handle phone communications with proper etiquette.
  • Foster positive relationships with coworkers and support team goals; listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards.
  • Read and verify information across various formats, including small print.
  • Perform light physical tasks, such as moving, lifting, or carrying objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
  • Carry out other reasonable duties as requested by management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:                              High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience:      At least 1 year of related work experience.

Supervisory Experience:         No supervisory experience.

License or Certification:          None
