The impact you will make
The Cluster Human Resources Coordinator you will be a key part of the Central London Cluster team, responsible for a portfolio of Marriott Central London properties. You will report directly to the Cluster Human Resources Manager and will contribute with human resources generalist knowledge and expertise for the five properties.
What will you do?
The Cluster Human Resources Coordinator will support in providing comprehensive, confidential Human Resources service to the Cluster to support achievement of business goals and strategies whilst developing and maintaining positive internal and external customer relationships with associates and managers. The role requires a consistent standard of support, both administrative and non-administrative to the Human Resources department.
One of the main responsibilities will be overseeing the payroll function which consists in maintaining and updating employee payroll records and files; reviewing, verifying, and reconcile pay adjustments and other pay-related information. Together with the HR Officers, you will be leading payroll preparations and ensuring that actions required by heads of departments are clearly communicated, required data is available for finance’s review by the established deadlines and responds to any enquires efficiently. The HR Coordinator works closely with the Cluster Finance departments and the above property UK Payroll Team.
Additionally, you will be actively involved and support in specific functions, such as:
- Maintain and update accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards.
- Oversee and coordinate generic HR operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
- Provide first line of HR advice and support to all associates.
- Support with employee relations matters, including conducting investigations and grievance hearings whilst adhering to UK employment law.
- Support initiatives that drive employee engagement and retention.
- Take part and lead project work that enhances cluster productivity and efficiency.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience within an administrative or coordination role, ideally within hospitality operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and interact effectively with associates at all levels within the business.
- High attention to details and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
