POSITION SUMMARY

  • Perform telephone switch programming, maintenance and system diagnostics; troubleshoot switch-related outages.  
  • determine system load and perform preventive maintenance and expansion of the telecommunications network.
  • Perform routine telephone moves, changes, installations and repairs.
  • Make sure the PABX is in immaculate condition and communicate with PABX Company for any PABX related issues.
  • Fielding, prioritizing, and carrying out service support requests by in-person inspections and from the online work order system
  • Perform  preventive maintenance,  periodic inspection, cleaning, and repairs of equipment.
  • Keep a log of repairs and services 
  • Maintain inventory, as well as to ensure that tools and equipment are properly maintained. 
  • Comply with hotel and department policies and procedures at all times.
  • Swiftly correcting unsafe conditions in work places and bringing to the supervisor’s attention any non-correctable condition noticed
  • Identify and suggest new approaches or best known methods to foster continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance workers, company’s officials, and staff to effectively provide solutions to maintenance problems
  • Attend quickly to emergency call on equipment repair issues, as well as to after work hour calls.
  • Perform other duties the supervisor may assign & provides on-site support during special events as well as during off hours, holidays, and weekends, if required.
