Duties and Responsibilities:
- F&B Operations Management: Supervise and ensure the success of all food & beverage operations. Develop and implement strategies aligned with the company’s business goals.
- Menu & Inventory Management: Oversee and update food & beverage menus within company guidelines. Manage inventory weekly and monthly, ensuring adherence to budget and cost metrics.
- Staff Scheduling & Supervision: Create and adjust associate schedules based on business needs and budget. Ensure associates have the necessary supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
- Sales & Revenue Maximization: Ensure maximum revenue from all sales opportunities. Collaborate with the sales team and group planners to meet group-specific requirements.
- Marketing & Programming: Contribute to marketing meetings for creative opportunities and events. Execute programming aligned with the brand’s operating strategy and pillars.
- Guest Satisfaction: Work with property and corporate leadership to improve Guest Satisfaction scores and address concerns.
- Budgeting & P&L Oversight: Participate in P&L reviews and the budgeting process for all areas of responsibility.
- Team Communication & Leadership: Lead departmental meetings, ensuring clear communication of goals. Recruit, interview, hire, and train F&B associates.
- Performance Management: Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and discipline staff as necessary.
- Professional Appearance & Standards: Maintain a professional and personable appearance in accordance with hotel standards.
- Core Competencies: Demonstrate leadership in teamwork, guest service, problem-solving, work ethic, and entrepreneurship.
- Management Authority: Manage department operations, supervise associates, and hold authority for hiring and termination decisions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in a similar role in a luxury hospitality operation.
- Beverage certification preferred.
- Must have supervisory, coaching, and staff development experience.
- Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, which may include weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds on own and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to stand and walk for entire shift.
- Requires writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuity.
