JW Marriott Auckland is currently looking for a passionate and hands-on Director of Food & Beverage (DOFB) to fully overlook and manage the function including Culinary, Restaurants/Bars, Room Service and Banquets/Catering. As a Department Head, the DOFB will work alongside the leadership team of the hotel to ensure food and beverage/culinary operation meets the brand’s target customer needs, ensures employee satisfaction, and focuses on growing revenues and maximizing the financial performance of the department.
With a direct reporting to the Director of Operations, the DOFB will be part of an exciting beautification journey which consists of several new F&B projects (standalone Japanese restaurant, Executive Lounge, Lobby & Bar). The DOFB will also be collaborating on these projects with key F&B leaders such as Executive Chef and Restaurant Managers, in which the incumbent is responsible for mentoring and developing.
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in a similar Department Head role within a luxury hotel background
- Ability to influence and manage relevant stakeholders (guests, associates, vendors, owners etc)
- Proven track record of spearheading and maintaining Food & Beverage results
