Your main tasks
In this position, you will have overall responsibility for HR management (approx. 210 employees) and report directly to the CEO.
- Responsibility for the strategic and operational orientation of the HR department, including implementation of personnel planning, development and recruitment
- Management and organization of the entire HR department
- Responsibility for the preparatory work for payroll and payroll accounting as well as all short-time working and promotion issues
- Responsibility for continuous further training as well as securing and increasing the potential of our employees
- Implementation and further development of all key HR areas such as recruiting, staffing, talent and salary management
- Advising and supporting management and executives in all matters
- Trusting cooperation with the works councils
- Promotion of the Marriott corporate philosophy and culture
- Responsibility for the organization and implementation of employee events, team building, recognition and CSR activities
Your profile
- At least five years of professional experience in a comparable position within the upscale hotel industry or an equivalent service company
- Completed studies or commercial training with relevant additional qualifications in human resources
- Extensive knowledge of legal areas relevant to the company (e.g. labor law, collective agreements, social insurance)
- Confident handling of IT-supported HR software and common MS Office applications
- Ability to work in a team, sense of responsibility, assertiveness and service orientation
- Employee-oriented and professional appearance
- Independence, efficiency, thoroughness and high level of commitment
- Written and spoken fluency in German and English

There is a willingness to overpay the minimum wage of employment group 1 under the collective agreement, depending on qualifications and experience.
