CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Operational Excellence

                1.            Spa Operations:

                •             Manage daily operations of the Spa by JW, ensuring adherence to Spa by JW standards and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

                •             Oversee treatment room utilization, product inventory, and retail sales strategies.

                •             Implement innovative wellness offerings that reflect global trends and local influences.

                2.            Gym & Pool for Hotel and Residence:  

                •             Ensure the gym and pool facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

                •             Develop wellness programs, such as fitness classes and personal training services, tailored to the needs of hotel guests and residents.

                •             Monitor equipment maintenance and upgrades as needed.

                3.            Hotel guests & Tenant Engagement:

                •             Create exclusive wellness programs and activities for the hotel guests and tenants, fostering a sense of community and belonging.

 

Guest Experience & Brand Alignment

                •             Maintain a strong focus on guest satisfaction by collecting and analyzing feedback to enhance offerings.

                •             Ensure all wellness facilities and services align with JW Marriott’s luxury positioning and brand values.

                •             Introduce wellness initiatives that reflect local culture and promote holistic wellbeing.

 

Team Leadership & Training

                •             Recruit, train, and manage a team of wellness professionals, including spa therapists, fitness instructors, and pool attendants.

                •             Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide continuous training to uphold service excellence.

                •             Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

 

Financial Management

                •             Develop and manage budgets for the spa, gym, and pool operations.

                •             Track financial performance, including revenue generation from spa treatments, retail sales, and wellness programs.

                •             Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality.

 

Health & Safety Compliance

                •             Ensure all wellness facilities comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

                •             Conduct regular audits of the spa, gym, and pool to maintain operational standards.

 

Marketing & Partnerships

                •             Collaborate with the marketing team to promote wellness offerings through campaigns and events.

                •             Build partnerships with local and international wellness brands to enhance the guest experience.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE 

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED; 3 years experience in the recreation/health club operations or related professional area.

OR

• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Health Education, Physical Education, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 3 years experience in the recreation/health club operations or related professional area.
