Location​

This iconic Resort is situated between the renowned Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest in Tropical North Queensland. The resort comprises of 295 guest rooms, suites and villas. ​

​

Department​

Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas Resort is seeking a Food and Beverage Attendant – Banquets to join our Team. We're looking for someone who is ready to go beyond in everything they do. This is a great opportunity for local residents with all training provided for people with a genuine drive to improve your life and the lives of those around you.​

​

Responsibilities include but not limited to:​

  • Assist all guests with menu, dietary requirements and recommendations​
  • Ensure accuracy with requests, orders and service delivery​
  • Use of POS system​
  • Ensure all service areas are immaculate​
  • Maintain standards of hygiene and food handling​
  • Provide food and beverage service in line with Marriott brand standards to our Conference Guests.​
  • Assist in room set up for Conferences, Events, Tradeshows, meetings and other events​
  • Clear and rest tables and ensure service areas are clean and tidy​

​

To be successful in these positions you will need to possess the following minimum requirements:​

  • Able to work a 7 day a week rotating roster​
  • Immaculate grooming standards​
  • Strong communication skills & attention to detail​
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate of Attainment​
