Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, NNP Investments. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc.  The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment.  If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of our Courtyard by Marriott property. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel operations, with specific expertise in managing bistro or restaurant outlets. A focus on enhancing both guest and employee satisfaction is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and motivate a dedicated team to deliver outstanding guest service and achieve high satisfaction scores.
Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage services.
Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability while maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction.
Ensure all departments are working cohesively to deliver a seamless guest experience.
Manage the Bistro or restaurant outlet, ensuring high-quality food and beverage service, and maintaining a positive dining experience.
Monitor and analyze guest feedback, addressing any issues promptly and implementing improvements as needed.
Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professional development, and employee retention.
Ensure compliance with Marriott standards and local regulations, including health and safety requirements.
 

Qualifications:

Proven experience in hotel management, with a strong understanding of hotel operations and guest service.
Previous hotel management experience is a plus, but a strong background in hotel operations is required.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a focus on creating a positive work environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and employees alike.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest complaints with professionalism and empathy.
Proficiency in Fosee, GXP, and MGS
