JOB SUMMARY

The cost controller is able to do hotel receiving, invoice posting, inventory, and make sure costs are under control.

SCOPE / BUSINESS CONTEXT 

• A Full-Time position based at JW Marriott Marquis Dubai. • Number of Direct Reports - 10 • Titles of Direct Reports – Cost Control Supervisor, Cost Control Officer, Receiving, Store

CANDIDATE PROFILE 

Experience: • 1 year F&B experience Skills and Knowledge • Computer skills • English language • Mathematic skills • Leadership abilities Education or Certification • 

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position: 

• Supervises the work of the Head Store Man 

• Prepare a daily Flash Cost for the Chef, in order to inform of the Food Purchases

 • Take monthly inventory on Food and Beverage Stock in the Stores and Outlets

 • Inform the Chef and the Director of Beverage on cost and profit 

• Prepare monthly Beverage cost by Outlets • Maintain Fidelio Food & Beverage system

 • Prepare Food & Beverage Costing • Meal period is 2 x 15 minutes plus 1 x 30 minutes 

• Time Cards punched in and out in uniform 

• Notify Supervisor of any problems or complaints as and when they arise 

• No employee to be on property after working hours without authorization of manager except for meals in the staff cafeteria
