Job Summary

In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible to maximize Room and Food & Beverage revenue from a defined Corporate Account base whilst proactively uncovering new prospects, leads and accounts for The Westin Dragonara Resort, in order to maximize conversion of business in line with the Hotel’s revenue goals.

 

The core work activities include:

  • Representing Marriott Hotels & Resorts, promoting the quality image of the company at every opportunity and uncovering additional leads for The Westin Dragonara Resort
  • Maintaining a good relationship with customers of The Westin Dragonara Resort, predominantly focused on the local Corporate scene
  • Proactively prospect new accounts for the property, and follow the sales process through to convert into producing accounts
  • Manage a pre-determined number of key accounts/key prospects and other active accounts to ensure maximum yield in line with budgetary objectives.

 

What we’re looking for in prospective candidates :

  • In possession of Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality or Business Management or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in a five star hotel sales environment.    
  • Having an outgoing personality, passion for the industry and good level of confidence to proactively visit and meet customers and clients
