As a Sales Coordinator/Executive, you will support the Sales team by performing general office duties and preparing essential sales documents, including proposals and contracts. Your primary focus will be on developing relationships with existing clients while proactively sourcing new business opportunities.
You will promote our brand image both internally and externally, assemble promotional materials, and serve as the main point of contact for clients regarding hotel facilities and services. You will collaborate closely with the Director of Sales to achieve personal revenue goals and overall property objectives. Your role includes managing key accounts, ensuring timely communication of client requirements, and representing Courtyard Brussels at conferences, networking functions, corporate events, promotional gatherings, and many other occasions.
Responsabilities:
Prepare sales-related documents, including proposals, contracts
Business Development, Telesales, Sales calls
Develop relationship with existing clients, maximize revenue potential
Put together information packages, brochures and other promotional materials
Use sales techniques to maximise revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty
Promote awareness of our brand image internally and externally
Be a point of contact for clients and guests, responding to questions about hotel facilities and services
Perform general office duties to support Sales
Working closely with Director of Sales to achieve both personal revenue goals (by working towards an agreed Masters target) and the budgeted goals of the Property.
Proactively manage a pre-determined number of key accounts, key prospects and other active accounts to ensure maximum yield in rooms and banqueting revenue in line with budgetary objectives.
Maintain valid call objectives and relevant action plans for each key account/key prospect and ensure all follow up is executed in a timely manner.
Proactively sourcing and prospecting new accounts for the Property, and following the sales process through to convert into 'producing' accounts.
To represent Courtyard Brussels at trade fairs ensuring that the quality image of the organisation is portrayed, and that every opportunity is taken to promote the Property.
A sales report is to be completed in a timely manner after attendance of trade shows or missions.
To take personal responsibility for understanding the Marketing plan and the required budgetary guidelines of the Hotels, to enable empowered decisions in all rate negotiations.
Communicating client requirements in a timely and accurate manner to all internal departments as required, ensuring delivery of superior guest service.
Re-negotiation of corporate rate agreements within budgetary guidelines for all corporate accounts within agreed time frames.
Ensuring accurate follow up and communication both internally to reservations and accounting departments, and confirmation to client.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. (basic university degree, hospitality/horeca)
Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
License or Certification: None
