JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, Demand Generation is a key member of the Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy global marketing team. This individual will lead a pilot program team as a demand generation strategist leveraging traditional and non-traditional digital marketing strategies to drive qualified organic traffic and conversion for HVMB’s portfolio of premium and luxury home rentals including establishing a strong off-platform SEO strategy. Specifically, this role will lead a team of specialists focused on implementing new strategies to grow HVMB’s current organic ranking and improve conversion from organic channels. This position will work closely with a number of teams, including: close collaboration with brand and performance marketing teams to drive awareness, perception and preference across key consumer channels while maintaining brand consistency; internal digital subject matter experts to ideate and implement organic growth strategies on-platform; internal and external tech teams to execute on-platform enhancements that will drive incremental revenue for HVMB. This position requires a self-motivated leader who is analytically minded, data-driven in their decision-making process and well versed in digital marketing. 

This role will be hired as a Fixed-Term Contract through the end of 2025.

CANDIDATE PROFILE 

 

Education and Experience Required

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hospitality Management (or related degree) 
  • 8+ years’ experience in the hospitality industry, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance
  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing, with a focus on digital marketing, search engine optimization strategies, planning and execution 
  • Past demonstration of strong leadership, strategy and interpersonal skills, including business acumen, analytic abilities, and communication skills, as well as an aptitude for using data to formulate and test hypotheses.
  • Proven experience scaling demand generation programs through technology, data and process
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills and metrics-based decision making

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Digital Marketing & Demand Generation Strategy

  • Evaluates, defines and socializes HVMB’s near and long-term organic traffic growth strategy.
  • Develop and grow a high performing, metrics-driven, digital marketing team with an emphasis on organic traffic growth strategies off-platform that drive topline revenue.
  • Meet and exceed aggressive revenue goals while evaluating and optimizing leading indicators of demand.
  • Forecast, measure, analyze and report on the impact of demand creation activities on organic site visits, visit conversion and bookings.
  • Interface with enterprise digital teams to develop and refine on-platform SEO strategies while also uncovering new areas of improvement to help drive organic traffic growth and conversion; communicate HVMB off-platform SEO strategies and tactics for cross team collaboration.
  • Analyze real time data, industry news and the latest SEO technologies to identify trends, opportunities or areas for improvement and create actionable plans to drive performance. 

Marketing & Content Strategy and Management 

  • Build data-informed and keyword-focused content strategies by analyzing and optimizing HVMB’s owned content, as well as creating new SEO-driven content recommendations to socialize with internal teams.
  • Work closely with both internal and external tech teams to provide consultation and direction on website and product enhancements/launches to ensure SEO best practices are being followed 
  • Partner closely with internal brand marketing and public relations team to ensure SEO is a key part of the overall brand communication strategy and PR teams are fully leveraging opportunities for ongoing link building
  • Uncover new lines of communication through non-traditional social media platforms, journalist and content creator communities to drive new channels of organic traffic and brand affinity.
  • Develop and execute new campaigns to create and maintain high levels of customer interaction and engagement.
  • Identify and align HVMB brand with positive travel trending topics, identifying and fostering open communication with key social influencers within travel and lifestyle to drive brand awareness, new users and conversion to HVMB.
