We’re looking for an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager - Banquets Operation to take charge of our event operations at Pier One Sydney Harbour— If you’re all about creating epic events, leading a high-energy team, and delivering next-level service, this is your chance!
About the role
As our Assistant Food & Beverage Manager - Banquets Operation, you’ll be the mastermind behind incredible events—think stunning weddings, corporate galas, and high-end celebrations. You’ll oversee everything from setup to service, making sure every detail is flawless. Plus, you’ll be leading a team that thrives on teamwork, creativity, and making things happen.
What You’ll Do:
Own the Banquet Scene – Run the show for all banquet events, ensuring smooth setups, top-tier service, and an unbeatable guest experience.
Lead & Inspire – Build a strong, motivated team that’s all about collaboration, passion, and delivering wow moments.
Work with Culinary Pros – Partner with chefs and F&B teams to create standout dining experiences.
Manage the Numbers – Keep costs in check while maximizing revenue and efficiency.
Stay on Top of It All – Handle logistics, coordinate schedules, and make sure every event is executed to perfection.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience in banquet operations, event management, or F&B leadership.
  • A people-first leader who knows how to motivate, coach, and bring out the best in a team.
  • Someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-energy environments (you love the buzz of events!).
  • A problem-solver who can think on their feet and make quick decisions.
