Your Opportunity
As a key player in our team, you will report directly to the General Manager and be responsible for overseeing Rooms operations, including Reception, Service Express, Porters and Housekeeping. This role is a unique blend of strategic leadership and hands-on management, where you'll inspire our team, maintain impeccable standards, troubleshoot effectively, and drive success across people, products, and profits.

This role is a 12month maternity leave cover with expected start date being Monday 9th June 2025 and will conclude in June 2026.
Your Responsibilities
Set the Vision: Collaborate with the executive leadership team to define the strategic and operational direction for all Rooms operations, including Reception, Housekeeping, Service Express, and Porters.
Lead and Develop: Provide leadership, coaching, and feedback to Rooms managers, creating development plans and succession strategies for future leaders within the department.
Team Excellence: Ensure the selection, training, development, and evaluation of all team members align with our premium brand standards and contribute to a high-performance culture.
Drive Performance: Establish performance metrics, benchmarks, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency across the Rooms division.
Forge Relationships: Build strong relationships with the leadership team, associates, guests, and external partners, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and top-tier guest experience in all Rooms areas.
Revenue Enhancement: Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to implement revenue strategies, including room pricing, promotional packages, and enhancing guest satisfaction to drive profitability.
Resource Management: Oversee labor, operating expenses, contracts, and external suppliers, ensuring efficient budgetary compliance and the financial performance of the Rooms department.
Initiative and Adaptability: Take ownership of projects and seize opportunities, working both independently and collaboratively to maximize success in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
You Have
Experience Matters: Bring 3+ years of Rooms Division Management experience in a 5-star hotel, focusing on service quality, operational excellence, and high-volume occupancy.
Authentic Leadership: Embrace a leadership style that is engaging, strategic, and authentic, with the ability to motivate and guide your team to achieve success.
Positive Attitude: Demonstrate resilience, maturity, and adaptability, with a "can-do" attitude that empowers your team.

Execution Excellence: Demonstrate a proven ability to execute strategies effectively, ensuring plans are translated into actionable steps that achieve desired results.
Guest Experience Passion: Have a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, staying current with industry trends and innovations to continually enhance guest satisfaction.
Problem-Solving Pro: Master prioritization, organization, delegation, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment to tackle challenges and deliver exceptional results.
Education Edge: Tertiary qualifications in hospitality or business management are highly regarded.

You will have Full Time Australian Working rights and previous Australian experience.
