Administrative Assistant
Singapore Regional OfficeBased in Singapore to provide clerical and administrative support to the Marriott Development Planning & Feasibility function to ensure seamless departmental operations and successful achievements of business goals and priorities.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
- Diploma holder preferably in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in large-scale corporations, ideally with some experience working in hotels or corporate office of hotel operators
Skills and Competencies
- Well-organized with ability to multitask.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A good team player with approachable character, positive attitude and strong ownership.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
- Well versed in calendar management, trip planning and scheduling; Coordinate in-office and off-site meetings, conference calls and perform minute-taking.
- Handling of end-to-end travel arrangements for team; Facilitate business travel visa applications and other travel documents
- Compile and submit expense claim reports and invoices for approvals to ensure timely reimbursements and payments
- Provide administrative support for committee/team meetings and digital database management
- Making calls, researching online, or tracking data for specific projects or workstreams.
- Document, communicate, track and follow up on requests and enquiries, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Assist in preparing and developing internal communication emails, memos and presentations.
- Handle emails correspondence, business letters, memorandum, incoming and outgoing mails etc.
- Develop and maintain an organized filing system to keep proper records of department documents.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across functions and seniority levels in a diverse environment
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
