POSITION SUMMARY - Hospitality Ambassador

 

Working with us is different.  We believe in making work fun. As a brand representative, you are free to be yourself to do the best job you can.  Our hospitality ambassador is enthusiastic, optimistic, and treats everyone with respect. You feel great about making others smile, and guests feel happy as a result. You work as a team of ambassadors to deliver exceptional service to our guests every day.  As an ambassador, you will become a champion multitasker with responsibilities that touch customer service, receptionist, concierge, barista, mixologist, logistics and more.  This role extends beyond our boundaries into your community by sharing key information about the local area and activities available.  Help us reinvent the traditional hospitality industry by providing the things our guests love most about us: exceptional service and unique experiences.

Your main tasks include: Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support the team to reach common goals. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.  Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

                    

CRITICAL TASKS

 

Daily Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Handle reservations within the property management system (PMS).
  • Engage guests in friendly conversation and listen to anticipate their needs. Share details about property offerings and share information about the sights and sounds of the city, including the best places to eat, shop, and socialize.
  • Prepare and serve hot and cold local food.
  • Brew delicious coffee and/or mix signature cocktails.
  • Maintain and clean the living room and the canteen; arrange food displays for the following shift.
  • As a kitchen hero, perform tasks such as dishwashing, kitchen cleaning, food handling and cooking.
  • Prepare meeting rooms when applicable.

  • Guide guests through smooth and friendly self-check-ins. 
  • Respond to guest needs with speed, enthusiasm, and care, turning every encounter into a memorable moment.

Communications

  • Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Speaks to guests and colleagues as if they’re friends, using names whenever possible.
