W Sydney, located at 31 Wheat Road, is hiring an Apprentice Chef to join our bold and vibrant kitchen team. Reporting to the Executive Chef, this offers an exciting opportunity to learn, create and grow in a fast-paced, luxury hotel environment. If your passionate about food, eager to work with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and hungry to build a career in the culinary world, this is your moment.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Working alongside experienced chefs across our hotel kitchens and venues
  • Learning essential culinary skills, food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
  • Assisting with service for breakfast, lunch, dinner and events
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety and presentation
  • Contributing to a creative, supportive and energetic team environment

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • A genuine passion for food and the hospitality industry
  • Willingness to learn, take direction and develop new skills
  • Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
  • Eligibility to undertake a Commercial Cookery apprenticeship in Australia

 

No previous kitchen experience required—just enthusiasm and commitment.
