Assistant Banquet Manager

We’re seeking a passionate Assistant Banquet Manager who loves to serve and lead! Our events—from receptions and meetings to trainings and reunions—showcase our hotel at its best. Working alongside the Banquet Manager, the Assistant Banquet Manager supervises the banquet staff and coordinates all food and beverage service to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional guest service and ensure guest satisfaction throughout events.
- Lead and motivate the banquet team while maintaining all quality standards.
- Greet guests and accommodate their needs during events.
- Communicate effectively with guests regarding menu and service questions.
- Deliver food and beverages from staging areas to guests as needed.
- Assist servers during peak periods and train staff on plated and reception-style service (training provided).
- Anticipate guest needs and monitor the dining experience.
- Oversee setup, execution, and clean-up for events.
- Perform side work and maintain clean, safe service areas.
- Maintain a professional and personable appearance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in banquet, catering, or hospitality preferred.
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Ability to anticipate guest needs and deliver superior service.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
