Now open and redefining luxury lifestyle hospitality in the heart of Darling Harbour, W Sydney is seeking a dynamic and polished Assistant Chief Concierge to join our team and elevate the guest journey from arrival to departure. Reporting to the Chief Concierge this integral role provides a high level of local expertise and presents an amazing opportunity to play a key role in the world’s largest W Hotel, with 588 rooms, suites and studios.

This role is all about connection, leadership, and creating the unmistakable W energy. You will be a key contributor to shaping guest experiences and setting new benchmarks in service excellence.

JOB SUMMARY

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire Concierge and Wheels talent to deliver elevated and intuitive guest service.
  • Oversee valet parking, driveway flow, luggage services, rooming, and guest transportation.
  • Manage VIP guest experiences and ensure smooth execution of Marriott Bonvoy elite services.
  • Coordinate group arrivals, special requests, and major events happening within the hotel and across Sydney.
  • Collaborate with hotel leadership to continuously enhance service, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
  • Act as the hotel’s local expert—curating bespoke recommendations that reflect Sydney’s culture, dining, nightlife, and hidden gems.
  • Maintain a professional, stylish, and W‑brand‑aligned presence at all times.

 

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven luxury or lifestyle hotel experience in a similar leadership role
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to inspire teams and create a supportive, high‑performance culture
  • Deep understanding of Sydney’s events, districts, and experiences
  • Passion for personalised service and exceeding guest expectations
  • A full NSW Driver’s Licence (required)
