Position Summary
The Associate Manager, Strategy and Planning – Commercial, EMEA serves as a strategic partner and internal consultant, leading projects that drive commercial strategy and planning across disciplines such as Marketing, Loyalty, Digital, Revenue Management, Sales, and Distribution. The role supports annual planning, conducts research and analysis, develops project plans, facilitates workshops, and prepares executive-level reports. Combining strategic thinking with operational planning and change management, this position ensures alignment with global priorities and delivers impactful solutions to advance commercial excellence across the region.

 

Scope

  • Location: London
  • Language Requirements: English (written and spoken)
  • Travel: Occasional within EMEA for workshops and conferences
  • Working Model: Hybrid (2–3 days per week in the London office)
  • Role Type: Individual contributor

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic partner and internal consultant for commercial strategy and planning initiatives.
  • Lead internal consulting projects across Commercial disciplines (Marketing, Loyalty, Digital, Revenue Management, Sales, Distribution).
  • Support the enterprise annual planning process and ensure alignment with global priorities.
  • Conduct research, data analysis, and benchmarking to inform recommendations.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables for strategic initiatives.
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to drive collaboration and decision-making.
  • Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Drive change management and cross-functional collaboration to implement strategic solutions.

     

Candidate Profile
Experience

  • minimum 3 years experience in project management or consulting roles.
  • Strong understanding of change management methodologies and experience implementing change initiatives.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, CoPilot); familiarity with analytics tools is a plus.
  • Background in hospitality, travel, or consumer-facing industries (preferred).
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile (preferred).
  • Experience with cross-functional projects or internal consulting engagements.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
