POSITION SUMMARY

Audio Visual Technician

Responsible for the daily set up, operation, maintenance, and strike of all audio & visual equipment of our events department.     


The ideal Candidate would have: 
•    Previous experience in Audio-Visual, a theatrical, industrial, hotel, and/or entertainment environment. 
•    Thorough knowledge of all basic and specialized audio visual equipment, including staging, lighting, audio and video. 
•    Strong knowledge of audio visual equipment including computers, phones, LCD projectors, screens, audio, video, and lighting.
•    Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office computer software 
•    Strong knowledge about electricity and power distribution
•    Basic knowledge of rigging equipment to include truss, lighting and LCD projectors
•    Strong communication and customer service skills
•    The ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds without assistance and above it with the assistance of others and/or equipment. 
•    Be able to work outdoors as well as indoors. 
•    Ability to work a flexible scheduled including evenings, weekends and holidays
