W Sydney is now casting for a Barista to focus on customer service and cocktail elaboration. Collaborating closely with the venue management, this integral role will focus on creating unique and vibrant experiences for our guests.

JOB SUMMARY

Supervises daily beverage operations and assists with beverage offerings and upsells, menu planning and assists the talent on the floor during peak meal periods. Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction. Determines training needed to accomplish goals, then implements plan.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

The core responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

  • Work in partnership with the BTWN Restaurant Management team to execute the smooth and flawless operations.
  • Complete all barista opening, cleaning, and closing duties as per checklist. 
  • Develop a complete working knowledge of all food and beverage served in the Restaurant.
  • Ensure that all details of service are performed to expected standards and that every guest receives the highest quality of service in line with LQA standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment, utensils, and work areas
  • Maintain proper restock and replenish for the venue and not limited to coffee machine area. 
  • Perform preventative measures, including maintenance to keep other machines and equipment in working condition. 
  • Contribute to shift briefings as required. 
  • Ensure checks are closed and guest billing is accurate.
  • Monitor opening and closing duties and completed daily to standard by barista.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent work ethic with a high degree of responsibility
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team and build relationships.
