The Barista connects with the guests by providing them a friendly, enthusiastic, yet professional and timely service
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages to standard recipes
- Take customer orders and handle cash/card transactions accurately
- Provide friendly, efficient customer service and answer menu questions
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment (espresso machines, grinders, etc.)
- Keep the workspace, counters, and seating areas clean and organized
- Restock supplies such as cups, lids, syrups, and food items
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Open or close the café (set up stations, clean down equipment, secure cash)
- Handle food items like pastries or light snacks, if applicable
- Work as part of a team to keep service running smoothly during busy period
