Position Summary
 
The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages with precision, creativity, and professionalism while delivering warm and engaging hospitality. This role ensures quality, consistency, and compliance with brand standards, while maintaining an organized and inviting bar environment.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Provide personalized and attentive service to guests, ensuring a memorable experience.
- Maintain full knowledge of beverage menus, ingredients, and pairings.
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper setup of the bar before, during, and after service.
- Monitor inventory levels, rotate stock properly, and minimize waste.
- Process transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Collaborate closely with the service and culinary teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Comply with all safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Contribute ideas to enhance beverage offerings in alignment with the hotel’s concept and standards.
- Represent the hotel’s values of professionalism, excellence, and genuine hospitality at all times.
 
Qualifications
 
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, hotel, or upscale bar environment preferred.
- Knowledge of classic cocktails, mixology techniques, and beverage presentation.
- Familiarity with POS systems and responsible alcohol service standards.
- Responsible alcohol service certification preferred (as required by law).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Strong communication skills and guest-focused mindset.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
 
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments.

 

Hourly Pay: $8.50 + Tips. Employment Type: Permanent position with a 9-month probationary period Vacation Leave: Accrues at 1.25 days per month (15 days per year) for employees working at least 130 hours per month. Accrual becomes available after completing 6 months of employment and is retroactive to the hire date. Vacation may be carried over for up to 2 years, in accordance with company policy. Sick Leave: Accrues at 1 day per month (12 days per year) for employees working at least 130 hours per month. Maximum accumulation of 27 days (216 hours). Up to 15 days (120 hours) may be carried over per calendar year, in accordance with company policy. Health Insurance: 100% employer-paid coverage for the employee (minimum 130 hours per month), effective after 3 months of employment. Parking Incentive: $5.00 USD for each day effectively worked. Holiday Pay: Paid holidays effective after 3 months of employment.
