Position Summary:

• Responsible for proactively soliciting and managing group/catering-related opportunities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve property’s objectives whilst consistently analyzing market information

• Support the hotel’s service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by creating classic and timeless experiences with each client experience

• Use negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts

• Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new clients to enable future bookings

• Ensure you and your team uphold all company policies and procedures and complete all required managerial tasks in a prompt & thorough manner.

• Represent the Sales team to provide a quality of service and exceed client expectations

• Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external

About You:

• Experience in a similar hotel Business Development Manager role is preferred

• Working rights in New Zealand

• Valid New Zealand full driver’s license

• Enthusiastic about growing your career in sales

• Self-motivated, driven and energized in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to provide smart solutions and a can-do attitude
