Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Peak Tower Corporation Pte Ltd. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc.  The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment.  If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

 

Job Description:

-Oversee the maintenance and operation of all hotel facilities, equipment, and engineering systems.
 
-Lead and supervise the Engineering team to ensure efficient daily operations.
Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime.
 
-Ensure compliance with safety, fire, and statutory regulations.
 
-Manage repairs, maintenance projects, contractors, and service providers.
 
-Monitor departmental budgets, maintenance costs, and energy consumption.
 
-Respond promptly to engineering emergencies and operational issues.
 
-Coordinate with other departments to support smooth hotel operations.
 
-Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all certifications are up to date.
 
-Support renovation and capital improvement projects when required.
 
Job Qualifications:
 
-Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
 
-Minimum 4 years of engineering experience in the hospitality industry, with supervisory experience preferred.
 
-Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and building systems.
 
-Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
 
-Familiar with preventive maintenance, budgeting, and contractor management.
 
-Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems.
 
-Self-motivated, organized, and committed to maintaining high operational and safety standards.
