What are your responsibilities?

• Lead and manage all food safety and hygiene audit processes, ensuring full compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Be fully accountable for the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all Food & Beverage back-of-house areas, including kitchens, stewarding operations, storage areas, receiving docks, and loading bays.
• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 9 Stewarding Associates, ensuring high performance, engagement, and adherence to Marriott standards.
• Oversee the ordering, inventory management, and availability of paper products, disposables, cleaning supplies, chemicals, and all related operational materials.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for cleaning and hygiene suppliers, maintaining strong vendor relationships and ensuring service quality.
• Develop and deliver training programs on food safety, hygiene, cleaning procedures, and safe chemical handling for stewarding associates.
• Drive consistency and excellence in cleanliness standards across all kitchen and back-of-house areas through regular inspections and follow-up actions.
• Support the Culinary and Food & Beverage leadership teams in maintaining a safe, efficient, and compliant working environment.
• Ensure all stewarding equipment is properly maintained and that corrective actions are promptly taken when standards are not met.

What makes you the perfect fit?

You:

• Have proven experience in a Stewarding, Kitchen Stewarding, or Hygiene leadership role within a hotel or large-scale hospitality operation.
• Have a proven track record of leading, coaching, and developing teams.
• Possess strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP principles, hygiene standards, and cleaning processes.
• Are highly organized and capable of managing inventory and operational supplies effectively.
• Are proficient in using computer systems; experience with procurement, inventory management, or purchasing systems is an advantage.
• Are proactive, hands-on, and able to work independently.
• Are a team player with strong communication skills.
• Are reliable, flexible, and quality-focused.
• Speak English; Dutch is an advantage.
