| Bayfront Landing consists of 120,000 square feet of combined meeting space and 392 hotel rooms spread across the Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott Erie Bayfront Hotel, and Bayfront Convention Center. The Senior Sales Manager will be primarily responsible for securing large state-wide or national conventions and hotel rooms within the Social, Military, Educational, Religious, and Fraternal segments. This position will be a direct employee of White Lodging and will report to the Director(s) of Sales & Marketing. He/she will be responsible for meeting or exceeding budgeted goals which includes room nights established by White Lodging and Erie Events. This position will be tasked with revenue measurement goals supporting the Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott Erie Bayfront Hotel, and Bayfront Convention Center. The Senior Sales Manager will consistently build rapport with prospects, and clients with the mission of economic impact and customer satisfaction. This individual will need to be strategic when selling the appropriate hotel to serve best the client’s needs. |

| Responsibilities: |
| · Actively seek out and prospect for business opportunities that meet Bayfront Landing Sales objectives. · Respond quickly to all business inquires in a timely, thorough and professional manner. · Use Delphi FDC System, and CRM software to enter and retrieve information to support departmental activity and secure sales with contracts. · Understand the overall market (e.g., competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand) and how to sell against them. · Verify that business booked is within hotel and convention center parameters among sales teams. · Close the best opportunities for joint property based on market conditions and complex property needs. · Understand and actively utilize Bayfront Landing marketing initiative/incentives to close on business. · Attendance and or travel may be required for meetings/events, including trade shows, client visits and prospecting calls. · Perform other duties, as assigned, to meet business needs.
