We're looking for a passionate Commis Chef to join our talented culinary team and contribute to an environment where creativity, quality, and continuous learning are valued every day.
About the Role:
As a Commis Chef at Atria, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences, supporting your team to execute service at the highest standard.
- Prepare and present dishes with consistency, attention to detail, and pride in your craft
- Organise and maintain your designated kitchen section to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Follow recipes, preparation methods, and presentation standards
- Uphold food safety, hygiene, and operational standards at all times
- Support the wider kitchen brigade during busy service periods
- Contribute positively to a collaborative and high-performing team environment
- Assist in delivering dining experiences that exceed guest expectations
About You:
You are passionate about food, eager to develop your skills, and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Trade Industry or Commercial Cookery Qualification (or currently completing)
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment
- A genuine passion for hospitality and modern dining
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced chefs
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Full Australian working rights
