Position Summary 

As a Commis Chef at the Booking Office Restaurant, you will support the kitchen team in delivering a high‑quality and efficient dining experience. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic and motivated individual looking to grow their culinary skills in a busy, dynamic restaurant environment. You will assist with food preparation, maintain exceptional standards of quality and hygiene, and work closely with senior chefs to ensure smooth and consistent service.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes served at the Booking Office Restaurant
  • Carry out basic culinary tasks under the guidance of senior chefs
  • Ensure all mise en place is completed accurately, efficiently, and on time
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic workstation and kitchen area
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
  • Support proper food storage, labelling, and stock rotation (FIFO)
  • Assist senior chefs during busy service periods
  • Demonstrate initiative and a strong desire to learn and develop within the kitchen team

Qualifications:

  • Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety for Catering Certificate

  • Food Allergy and Intolerance Training Certificat
