To strengthen our bar team, we are currently looking for a Commis de Bar (m/f/d) for our The Lounge and our Curtain Club. 

 

This is what your day will look like: 

• Warmly welcoming and saying goodbye to all guests 

• Providing service-oriented support to guests in our The Lounge 

• Taking all orders and providing excellent advice to guests 

• Taking into account and implementing all guest requests and preferences 

• Preparing and serving our aperitifs and cocktails 

• Daily celebration of the unique Defining Moment and Afternoon Tea 

• Interacting and communicating with guests and building long-term relationships through personal, individual, and first-class service 

• Preparing the daily mise-en-place 

• Ensuring smooth service 

• Implementing all The Ritz-Carlton standards 

• Compliance with hygiene regulations in accordance with HACCP guidelines

What we expect from you: 

• Completed vocational training in the hotel or catering industry 

• Relevant professional experience as a bartender or tea sommelier, ideally in upscale catering 

• In-depth technical know-how in the preparation of aperitifs and tea 

• Good German and very good English skills, both spoken and written 

• Confident and professional demeanor and quick comprehension 

• Very good hosting skills with a consistently positive attitude 

• Enjoyment of daily guest contact and passion for the hotel industry 

• Team player, multi-tasking ability, and hands-on mentality 

• Enjoyment of creating special moments
