The Opportunity
As the Concierge, you will support all aspects of Concierge operations in accordance with The Luxury Collection brand standards and service philosophy. You will be responsible for delivering refined, personalized, and anticipatory service experiences that create memorable and meaningful guest journeys.
Working closely with all hotel departments, you will coordinate guest preferences, special requests, VIP requirements, and arrival arrangements to ensure each stay is seamless, distinctive, and exceptional. Through genuine guest engagement, local expertise, and attention to detail, you will contribute to creating bespoke experiences that reflect the elegance and individuality of The Luxury Collection.
Key Accountabilities
- Deliver exceptional Concierge services in accordance with The Luxury Collection brand standards and service philosophy.
- Provide refined, personalized, and anticipatory service to create memorable guest experiences.
- Coordinate guest preferences, special requests, transportation, dining, and local experiences prior to arrival and throughout the stay.
- Build strong relationships with guests through genuine engagement, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Maintain expert knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, events, and cultural experiences to provide tailored recommendations.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with local attractions, restaurants, tourism operators, and other businesses to curate bespoke recommendations and enhance the overall guest experience.
- Liaise closely with all hotel departments to ensure seamless communication and execution of guest requirements.
- Oversee and guide the Bell (Porters & Valets) team to ensure professional presentation, efficient luggage handling, transportation coordination, and exceptional guest service at all times.
- Support VIP arrivals, special occasions, and bespoke guest experiences to ensure the highest level of satisfaction.
- Maintain the presentation and professionalism of the Concierge desk and lobby environment at all times.
- Handle guest enquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally to achieve positive outcomes.
- Uphold Marriott International and The Luxury Collection standards, policies, and procedures at all times.
Profile
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a client or guest facing role in a luxury environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to engage with guests
- Strong attention to detail, thorough follow-up, and proven problem-solving abilities
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to emotionally connect with guests and consistently deliver elevated levels of service
- Experience in conflict resolution with a calm, solution-focused approach
- Flexibility to work on a 24-hour rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
- Experience with the OPERA Property Management System is highly regarded
- Must have full working rights in Australia
