Conference Set-Up Supervisor
We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Conference Set-Up Supervisor to join our team in delivering exceptional experiences in a Forbes Five-Star environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the flawless preparation and execution of banquet and event operations across ballroom, meeting, and outdoor function spaces. Oversee the setup, breakdown, and storage of tables, chairs, linens, skirting, and all related event equipment in a timely, efficient, and safe manner. Ensure all event spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation. Supervise banquet operations, ensuring seamless service delivery aligned with luxury service standards. Coordinate and execute guest requests and special event arrangements with precision and attention to detail. Inspect all setups to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with client specifications and company standards. Monitor and uphold sanitation and safety practices across all service and back-of-house areas. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and exceptional guest experience. Utilize event management systems (e.g., Social Tables or similar platforms) for planning and execution.
The Ideal Candidate must have:
• A minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a similar role or Banquet Supervisor / Event Operations Supervisor at a luxury five-star hotel
• Proven banquet or event operations experience
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Proficiency in computer systems and event management software
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical setup tasks
• Must be able to work flexible work hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Possesses a keen eye for detail and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-standard environment
• Exhibits professionalism, leadership, and the ability to inspire team performance
