About the Role
 
We are looking for a motivated and passionate Commis Chef / Demi Chef de Partie who is eager to grow and develop their career within a dynamic hotel environment.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for a culinary professional with ambition and a long-term vision, looking to progress both within our hotel and across Marriott International.
 
Due to the size and structure of our restaurant, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to work across different kitchen sections, gaining a broad and valuable culinary experience and developing a well-rounded skill set.
 
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, cook, and present dishes in accordance with the hotel’s quality standards and recipes.
Support daily kitchen operations across different sections (hot kitchen, cold kitchen, breakfast, etc.), depending on operational needs.
Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation in all food items.
Assist in the preparation and execution of menus and special dishes.
Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO).
Monitor stock levels and support inventory and cost control processes.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Collaborate effectively with the kitchen team and other departments.

Additional Information

Vocational training in Culinary Arts, preferably Intermediate or Advanced Level (Technician in Kitchen or equivalent).
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a hotel or restaurant environment.
Knowledge of à la carte service; experience with buffet or breakfast service is a plus.
Valid Food Handling Certificate required.
Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
Ability to work across different kitchen sections depending on operational needs.
Strong teamwork skills and a proactive attitude.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic working environment.
Spanish required; basic English is a plus.
