POSITION SUMMARY

RESPONSIBILITY

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. 
  • Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables. 
  • Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients. 
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist. Prepare
  • cold foods. Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers. 
  • Test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently. 
  • Monitor food quality while preparing food. 
  • Set-up and break down work station. 
  • Serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles. 
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment. 
  • Check and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food.

  • 作業台の準備および片付け
  • 適切な容器に正しい分量での盛り付け・提供
  • キッチンエリア、テーブル、調理器具、包丁、機器の洗浄および消毒
  • 調理機器および食品の温度が正しいかの確認・管理
     

REQUIREMENT

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, preferably culinary school
  • Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience in the kitchen.
  • Language: Minimum Conversational Japanese level is required. English level will be a plus.
  • Applicants residing overseas must already possess a valid visa in Japan.
  • 学歴:高校卒業またはG.E.D.相当(調理学校卒業者優遇)
  • 職務経験:キッチンでの関連業務経験1年以上
  • 語学力:日常会話レベル以上の日本語必須、英語力があれば尚可
