Role Overview
The Creative & Design Specialist is responsible for translating the brand’s story into strong visual and digital content across social media, on-property materials, and marketing campaigns. This role goes beyond graphic design, requiring a creative eye for storytelling, content creation, and audience engagement, particularly in a hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
Creative & Design Specialist
- Design visual assets for social media, digital campaigns, on-property collaterals, and internal communications
- Ensure all creative outputs align with brand guidelines and visual standards
- Adapt concepts into multiple formats (posts, stories, reels covers, banners, signage)
Social Media Content Creation
- Create engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant platforms
- Develop simple content concepts (visual + caption direction) in collaboration with the marketing team
- Capture basic photo and video content using mobile devices when needed
- Edit short-form videos (Reels, Stories) and optimize visuals for social performance
Creative Support & Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to support campaigns and initiatives
- Assist in brainstorming creative ideas for promotions, events, and seasonal activations
- Manage creative timelines and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule
Creative & Technical Skills
- Strong graphic design skills with a good sense of layout, typography, and visual hierarchy
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); basic video editing skills (Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent) are an advantage
- Familiarity with social media formats, trends, and content best practices
Content & Storytelling
- Ability to think conceptually and translate ideas into engaging visual content
- Understanding of how visuals support storytelling and brand positioning
- Comfortable creating content that feels natural, warm, and on-brand for hospitality
Experience
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in graphic design, creative content, or social media-related roles
- Experience in hospitality, lifestyle, or brand-focused environments is an advantage
