What We Expect of You

• Experience in a dynamic hotel setting is highly valued.
• A passion for culinary artistry and a desire to innovate in the kitchen.
• A proactive and upbeat demeanor that inspires excellence.
• Keen to take on new challenges and grow within your career.
• Qualifications in Commercial Cookery III and IV or equivalent are preferred.
• A balance of professional polish with creative flair, staying true to W’s playful, boundary-pushing brand.

A Glance at What You Will Do

• Assist the Chef de Partie in preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes in line with hotel standards.
• Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation for all menu items.
• Ensure all mise en place is completed for service and replenished as required.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and kitchen procedures accurately.
• Support in the creation and testing of new menu items under supervision.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen team members to ensure smooth service flow.
• Assist in stock control, rotation, and reporting shortages to supervisors.
• Uphold hotel brand standards and contribute to a positive guest dining experience.
