We are looking for a passionate and strategic Director of Human Resources to join the executive leadership team of the Taghazout Bay Marriott Resort, a new resort opening in 2026 on Morocco’s breathtaking Atlantic coast.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the culture, talent strategy, and HR operations of a pre-opening hotel. As a key business partner to the General Manager and the broader leadership team, you will lead all aspects of Human Resources - from talent acquisition and workforce planning to employee engagement and development - ensuring alignment with Marriott’s brand values and owner priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the property’s HR strategy in alignment with business goals
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning for all departments
- Champion employee engagement, training, and performance management
- Oversee compensation strategy and ensure compliance with labor standards
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and a culture ambassador for the resort
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in HR leadership within hospitality or a related industry
- Proven ability to lead change, influence stakeholders, and build high-performing teams
- Experience in hotel pre-openings or new property launches is a strong advantage
- Fluency in English and French is required
- Strong understanding of Moroccan labor law and employment practices
