 Position Overview

The Director, Revenue Analytics is a key leader within Marriott’s Enterprise Data, Analytics & AI organization, responsible for delivering insights that shape revenue management strategies and optimize commercial performance. This role drives analytics initiatives focused on pricing, segmentation, demand forecasting, and channel performance, enabling data-driven decisions that improve profitability and market share.

Working closely with revenue leaders and cross-functional teams, the Director defines analytical priorities, interprets complex data, and translates findings into clear, actionable recommendations. By leveraging advanced analytics and Marriott’s data assets, this position ensures revenue strategies are grounded in robust insights and aligned with enterprise goals. The Director combines strong analytical expertise, business acumen, and exceptional communication skills to serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, fostering collaboration and innovation to embed analytics into decision-making and maximize revenue outcomes.

 

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in analytics or related roles, with 3+years in management.
  • Proficiency in interpreting trends, defining KPIs, and conducting deep-dive analyses.
  • Ability to lead a team of analysts and translate insights into strategic recommendations for business leaders.
  • Expertise in pricing strategies, demand forecasting, and revenue optimization models.
  • Knowledge of channel performance and inventory management analytics.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage analytics projects that support strategic and operational decision-making across business units.
  • Lead analytics initiatives for a specific business area or domain, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities.
  • Define analytical questions, measurement frameworks, and KPIs in collaboration with business partners.
  • Manage a team of analysts and oversee delivery of insights that inform strategic and operational decisions.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses and synthesize findings into actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure analytics outputs meet business needs.
  • Translate complex data into clear narratives for senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely delivery of analytics projects and maintain high standards of accuracy and relevance.
  • Support development of predictive models and advanced analytics techniques where applicable.
  • Partner with data engineering and visualization teams to optimize data accessibility and usability.
  • Create and deliver presentations that clearly communicate insights and recommendations to business leaders.
