This role involves managing the company’s online presence, driving digital marketing strategies, and optimizing e-commerce channels to maximize revenue and brand visibility. Provide guidance and support to properties in areas like eCommerce, training, and data analysis to drive revenue and customer loyalty. The ideal candidate will have expertise in online marketing, hotel e-commerce strategies, and a keen understanding of the hospitality industry, with a focus on aligning the company’s digital efforts with global brand standards.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in eCommerce, Marketing, or related major and 10 years experience in the sales, marketing, digital, eCommerce or related professional area
Preferred:
- 5+ years leadership experience in hotel / resorts
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce, digital marketing and related area
- Experience with hotel booking systems, OTA platforms, content management UX/UI, and SEO/SEM
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in web analytics tools
- Japan work experience an added advantage
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Japanese is highly advantageous
Key Task:
Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement e-commerce and digital strategies aligned with global brand standards. Collaborate with the Director of Sales, Marketing, and Digital teams to track progress and optimize e-commerce goals across hotel websites and distribution channels. Provide regular reporting and performance analysis to ensure the effectiveness of online marketing activities.
Distribution Channel Management: Coordinate and execute online marketing efforts, including paid search, display ads, and email campaigns. Ensure participation and content optimization across relevant OTAs and search channels to drive traffic and increase bookings. Collaborate with marketing teams to execute OTA merchandising strategies.
Performance Optimization: Optimize hotel website content, SEO, and local digital marketing tactics to enhance online visibility and conversions. Track website performance and identify areas for improvement, ensuring that the digital platforms are performing at their highest potential.
Hotel Support: Execute re-opening digital plans, including setting up brand.com websites and activating digital sales channels. Assist in the positioning of new hotels on digital platforms, ensuring SEO strategies are in place to boost visibility.
Communication & Training: Regularly review hotel performance against digital marketing goals, providing actionable insights and troubleshooting performance issues. Provide training and guidance to ensure smooth execution of digital strategies during hotel openings. Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape shifts, and new digital tools.
