Events Executive

The Events Executive plays a key role in delivering exceptional event experiences that reflect the hotel's commitment to outstanding service and guest satisfaction. This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of events and functions, ensuring seamless execution from initial inquiry to event completion.

Position Summary:  

• Responsible for the execution and coordination of the hotel’s events, internal functions, and social events.
• Analyze and create detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) tailored to client requirements.
• Effectively handle event arrangements to create spaces where guests feel welcome and valued, consistently exceeding expectations.
• Work closely with the sales team to maximize all potential business leads.
• Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new guests through engaging experiences and thoughtful service, encouraging future bookings.
• Support the hotel’s service and relationship strategy by inviting, welcoming, and connecting with guests, driving overall customer loyalty.
• Liaise with associates and other departments as the main point of contact for events and functions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Events Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Formal training in event planning, customer service, or F&B operations is an added advantage.
• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in event planning, hotel banqueting, meetings & events coordination, or a similar guest-facing operations role.
• Proven experience in preparing event documentation such as BEOs, event schedules, and client briefs.
• Demonstrated success in coordinating corporate events, social functions, and in-house gatherings.
• Experience in customer relationship management and interacting directly with clients.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with event software or PMS is beneficial.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Eligible for individuals with working rights in Fiji.
