Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, GVA Hospitality. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc.  The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment.  If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

As the Executive Pastry Chef, you will lead all pastry and bakery operations, creating refined and memorable culinary experiences that reflect the distinctive character of the destination. You will oversee the pastry team, drive innovation, maintain exceptional quality standards, and ensure operational excellence while delivering desserts and baked goods that exceed guest expectations.

Job Qualifications:
 
* Degree or diploma in Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, or a related discipline preferred.
* At least 2 years of progressive pastry experience, including leadership roles in luxury hotels or fine dining establishments.
* Demonstrated expertise in artisan baking, plated desserts, chocolate work, viennoiserie, and specialty pastries.
* Strong background in menu development, cost control, inventory management, and team leadership.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, luxury hospitality environment.
